A federation of state-based, citizen-funded environmental advocacy organizations. Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO) is a publicly available database on EPA’s website that contains inspection, compliance, and violation information for the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and hazardous waste laws for regulated facilities.
Visit ECHOTRI Database
The Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) is a publicly available database on EPA’s website that contains information on toxic chemical releases at facilities. Search using facility identifying information found on ECHO or by using geographic information. Results provide pollution information in aggregate (i.e. total annual air releases), and broken out by pollutant. TRI data reflect annual emissions and do not indicate the frequency or duration of the emissions.
